Hello, I’m Haley.

I’m a graphic designer born and raised in the Greater Milwaukee Area of Wisconsin. I’ve been an artist since I was old enough to hold a crayon, but I never thought I would be able to make a career out of creativity. When I graduated high school, I was un-inspired by my options and started working on my bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; simply because I felt like that’s what I was supposed to do. I was overwhelmed, and I hated the program, which eventually resulted in me dropping out of college and working in various office jobs. It wasn’t until years later that I learned about the graphic design industry, and I applied to the program right away. I’d had no intentions of ever going back to school, but here I was, working my office job during the day and going to classes at night so I could finally build my own career. I fell in love with design and almost immediately determined that having my own freelance business was the dream I was now working towards. My love for nature inspired the name, Summit & Sea, because I could never choose between the mountains or the ocean. Aside from designing, I’m happiest when I’m outside and I am so happy to finally have a way to combine my greatest passions every day.
